Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 13, 2026
NX Arcade (nxarcade.com) is a free, browser-based arcade. We built it to be fun and lightweight, and we take the same approach to your privacy: you don't create an account, and we don't collect personal information about you. This page explains, in plain language, exactly what data is involved when you play.
What we store on your device
To make the games work, we save a few things in your browser's local storage (on your device — not on our servers):
- Your personal best scores for each game.
- The nickname you choose for the leaderboard.
- Small preferences, like your selected character.
- A random, anonymous ID used only to avoid counting the same visitor twice in our totals. It is not linked to your identity.
You can erase all of this at any time by clearing your browser's site data for nxarcade.com.
Leaderboards
If you choose to submit a score, the nickname you pick (or a randomly suggested one) and your score become publicly visible on that game's leaderboard. Please don't use your real name or any personal information as a nickname. You can replace your nickname when you submit.
Anonymous usage metrics
We collect a small amount of anonymous, first-party usage data so we can see which games people enjoy and improve the site. This includes:
- A random session ID and the random device ID mentioned above (used to count unique visits).
- Your general device type and browser, derived from the standard User-Agent your browser sends (for example, "iPhone / Safari").
- Which games are opened and how long play sessions last.
This data contains no names, emails, accounts, or precise location, and we do not use any third-party analytics or advertising trackers to collect it. It is aggregated for reporting and automatically deleted after about 35 days.
Server logs
Like virtually all websites, our web server may keep brief technical logs (which can include your IP address) to keep the service running and protect against abuse. These logs are not combined with the anonymous metrics above and are kept only for a short time.
Advertising
Third-party ad providers may use cookies or similar technologies under their own privacy policies.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the site evolves. The "last updated" date at the top always reflects the current version.
